I wouldn't order birth control over the Internet. You should see a doctor or go to planned parenthood. They're free and confidential. But if you're going to start the pill, make sure you take it every day around the same time. And use condoms for the first month you are on it so it has time to kick in. The pill is very effective if taken correctly, but you should still see a doctor.

I'm in my mid 30's - and only took the pill for about one year of my entire life to regulate periods... I don't recommend the pill for a couple of reasons: 1. there are strong links of the pill and other hormone replacement therapies causing breast cancer in women. and 2. it is difficult to remember to take the pill every single day with out fail...
I think condoms are a good birthcontrol - as long as they are new and not expired and the right size and a good name brand that is well known. If all those things are in place - i think condoms are the best bet.

We used a vasectomy. It worked wonderfully! Once we were married, we didn't do birth control until we were finished having kids. My sister chose a different route and has an IUD. I think I'd much rather use an IUD than a pill if I had to choose temporary birth control.

I took Yasmin for 2 years. It's one of the newer birth control pills. The great thing about it for me was that it had virtually no side effects. I would suggest you talk to a doctor first though.

I've been celibate for quite a while. It's working out great. I don't have the highs and lows brought on by the hormones in the pill, I don't get fat like the implants and I NEVER even think I could be pregnant when my period is late.
I recommend it.

I have had 3 pregnancies...with the first I was on the pill, the 2nd was a condom baby and the 3rd defeated the sponge. The vasectomy my husband had after that seems to have done the trick.

I use the Depo shot. Love it! No headaches, PMS, cramps and the best thing I don't have to remember to take a dose each morning. Just go to the doctor every three months.

GEEZE go to the doctor first!!!
What if you have the factors for stroke that is brought on by birth control hormones?
Now,,, if you have already gone to the doctor, try the Neuva ring.
