it's Christmas and i want to do something special and dimamic for my family cause every year we make an activity and this year i'm the "organizer" and i don't know what to do. I want to do something Christmas-ish that can involve adults as well as children, please help!!!

I make gingerbread men. Goodhouekeeping.com has the best recipe in my opinion if you search for ginger cutouts. And I make frosting of every color and of course sprinkles.
Another fun activity is getting a gingerbread house kit. We do that one too and it's a lot easier because it's all in the box.
Another fun one we do is go to the Bronx Zoo. They have it all done up in lights. Of course you may not be close to the Bronx, but I am sure there is something similar by you.

Light some candles, turn off all the lights or simply turn on the Christmas tree lights and everyone sing carols together.It's great. Did it with a house of 60 family members. If you are daring, you could also gather everyone and go out caroling. That is truly a dying tradition.

Have a set schedule for family time, thats good for kids under the age of 6 or 7. Once or twice a week have a family night were you watch a movie w/ popcorn and candy (Like a real movie theater). A board game night, or a "park day" where you take you're kids to a park. They'll look forward to these "Fun Days" and they'll have fun in the process.

Dirty santa is always fun. After we eat and do the regular presents at my mothers house we play. Each person is responsible for all the gifts that year, this year is mine. I can spend a few hundred dollars and get fun gifts. None are that large but it gets good laughs if you are creative with what you get.
We also have a homemade christmas card contest where we all bring a hand drawn, colored and written card.

We take a drive and listen to Christmas music and look at the lights on the houses.
