do you have one? and if you do, are you on it constantly? I'm just wondering what the big deal is about.. I heard it basically became more of a personality contest than anything else...

any insights on it.. Do you take it as a positive or negative thing?

I for one don't have one and don't care much for it. Your turn! *hugz*

it's a very positive way of communicating. I know someone who posts her pictures of her baby, etc. Her baby is so cute, and it's a good way for her to get pictures out to her family and friends without having to email everyone and attaching pictures, etc. It's fun and a great interaction between friends and family. It is addicting and you can spend a lot of time on it, which is not so good, because sometimes we could be doing better things with our time. Try it, you will like it.

I personally like Yahoo 360 and Answers better. They're less threatening and invasive - you don't feel like perverts are stalking you! And you still get to meet lots of people - and you can check them out before they check you out!

Myspace makes you feel like somebody's watching you or that anything you say or do there, bazillions of people, good and bad people, have an insight into your life.

It's fun to check out, but if you mess around there, make it all fictional - in other words, lie! And be careful all the time!

P.S. It's also a great way to get hacked or get a bunch of spies dropped on ya! Good luck to you!

The links below are excellent!

yeah i have a myspace shared with my other half most of people on there use it as a popularity contest. we use it to find our old friends and keep in otuch without giving out where we live or our number cause you do get the intentional haters every now and then.

I used to, it's very addicting. Always wanting new comments, messages, picture comments. It is a huge ego thing, for ex. if you didn't get omg, atleast 3 comments then you're a loser and you need to go befriend your latest enemies. I've made 2 and deleted it both times, I wouldn't try to start going on again.. it's just so addicting..But I haven't been on in like 2 months!

Just deleted my "my space" home account. It was a monster. I think it can create alot of insecurity problems with somewhat secure people. I think it can be a homewrecker. I think it can cause infidelity in what are normal marriages. I don't like it. I don't like what it has become.

It's a good place to meet "efriends", hear new music & just have fun. I've even had a couple dates from the site.
