I play basketball at my school but I can't shoot from long distances so I want to free weight. Can freeweighting stunt/affect my height/growth?

Now you probably won't feel the effects of stunts but later in life you may have some problems like arthritis. You have to think is it really worth it? Hope it works out!

Do not freeweight like I told you dad
Freeweighting will like never I say never get me
In my like book that is just so freaking wrong
Oh my gosh that's just too wrong. If you like freaking want me then you better not freeweight or am dumping you before you can count to the number 5. 5-4-3-2-1- oops too freaking late

OK I was just playing my serious answer is I don't think you should freeweight your still growing and whatever you want to gain by freeweighting will develop
and no it will not affect your height or growth
