Hey,
I'm having trouble deciding.
Would 7300gt sonic be a good deal for an above average gamer like me?
Or would it be better if i save that bit to go with 7600gs sonic?
Here's the catch, i'm financially tied for the moment.
I've just enough for 7300gt sonic, but need to save a little bit more on 7600gs sonic.

I really enjoy that last answer. You tell him you can't quite afford a 7600GS, which is what about $120, so he tells you to buy a $300 card, brilliant. Anyway I would say go with the first guy's answer, that 7600GT is a pretty good deal after rebate. Frankly I would not ever recommend a 7300 (LE,GS,GT doesn't matter) to anyone who called themselves an above average gamer, because the 7300 line is garbage for gaming. So yes, at the very least get something in the 7600 range.

save your money and get somehting like this.

XFX PVT71JYPE7 GeForce 7950GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Extreme Edition HDCP Video Card - Retail

would be like a 150 bucks more but you would have the most up to date card out there. besides the 8800 GT which only works on windows vista direct X 10

go here to www.newegg.com they have some of the best prices around and customer service is second to none. they have all sorts of video cards. just look around.

check that site for card's performance. 7600 gs is way better than 7300gt.

newegg.com has a 7600gt ddr3 256mb for 80 bucks after rebate with lifetime warranty. 7600gt performs a bit better than 7600gs
