for those of you who like The Avatar and saw the season two finale. if katara and sokka are sister and brother, why wasn't katara with sokka when he went to see his dad???

Because one of them had to stay with the Earth nation King/military (something like that). She knew that Sauka wanted to see their father more so she let him go.
