I have juxtaposed many of Kobe and MJ's films, and I think Kobe is 10x better than MJ on any day.

So you're calling Kobe the greatest player of all time? MJ has more titles more points per game and a number that every little boy dreams of wearing. Kids are jealous of others who have Jordan jerseys and any jersey that has 23 on it. 24 doesn't mean "I'm 1 better than MJ" it means "My IQ is 24 for thinking I'm better than him"

This is the most stupid sports opinion I have ever heard in my entire life! You need to see a doctor. How can anyone possibly think this to be true. Any person who actually believes this knows nothing about basketball or it's history. You watched video tapes! You never saw MJ play or yo mamma was changing your messy diapers when the man did play! You are probably still messing your diapers to actually think something this stupid. Kobe will never compare in any way to MJ. He is too selfish and is not a team player and part of being a great basketball player is team play and making your team win instead of high stats. Kobe does not have 1 MVP award because Shaq earned them. Kobe was even 2nd fiddle to Shaq and cannot win a championship without the big guy who departed because Kobe has an ego problem. And Shaq got another championship with Wade. Kobe still can't redeem himself. Remember also Jordan played basketball when the shooting was good and legends were all over and his opponents were a ton more competitive than what we have now.
Kobe never had to worry about Bird, Magic, Barkley, Wilkins, Drexler, and all the superstars then that are better than most now. Kobe only faced the remaining Stockton/Malone combo destroyed his team in the playoffs. Basketball is more athletic now and the skills are not completly lost thanks to international players. The 3 point line moved closer is an absolute joke and has trashed the game. Kobe has it easy. The only players that come close to the superstars in the 80 are maybe Wade,LeBron, Garnett, and Duncan and I only said Maybe. Those guys would still not be the best in that era. Wake up kid. Have you made it through the 3rd grade yet. Good luck!

Sorry dude. Kobe has comparable talent, but MJ had a mental edge. Until Kobe intimidates opponents just by stepping on the court, MJ is still #1.

Lebron is the only player in the league that is even close to being as good as MJ. Kobe can't take his team to the finals. Kobe is nothing without Shaq.

Kobe is no where near COMPARED to MJ...MJ has all the scoreing records 6 rings and was part of the team that went 72-10 in the regular season....Kobe is a wash-up compared to MJ.

I think MJ is still the better player throughout his career. Yes I think Kobe is one of the best players right now, but he needs a few more championships, games played and points scored before he can truly be considered basketballs greatest.
It's kinda like Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus is the best golfer in the history of golf but Tiger is going to break all of Jack's record.

No chance. Kobe may be able to put up Jordanesque offensive numbers sometimes, but he sure as hell isn't the all-around player that MJ was. And Jordan CRUSHES Kobe in both the leadership department and the overall character department.

Just those who know nothing about this game. Are you kidding bringing up this question. Kobe isn't even the best player right now, let alone the best of all time. Are you that dazzles by his scoring that you don't see him losing without Shaq? Shaq was the winner there. Kobe - great scorer - one of the best cluch players of all time - horrible teamate. Brings his teamates down, rather than boosting them up. If you don't make your team better then you can be considered the best. Remove the stars from your eyes and understand that it's about winning.

Jordan is still the better player than Kobe. Jordan has proved himself as the MVP for many years by winning champships & awards. He is an overall player who made his team better & gained respect throughout the NBA. Kobe, althought a good player, still needs to prove himself. He still hasn't won a championship without Shaq & no MVPs (yet).
