I am going to give you the hard truth.... NOTHING. A BA in psychology is useless... (sounds hard I know) The job offerings are slim and the pay is less than what you or financial aid ever paid for the education. If you like psychology then continue with school and get your PhD. Or like MANY MANY MANY MANY BA's that I know... go get your Masters is Social Work.

A lot of people were surprised to see that a Social worker would be hired over them during job hunting.

There are many psychologists out there and you just get to be a research assistant.

If you live in an area with lots of business opportunity (in general) you shouldn't have a problem getting an entry level job. You might want to consider human resources. Someone else mentioned research. You can work as a research assistant, but it wouldn't pay much. However, if you can get your foot in the door in the corporate world, your type of degree won't matter anymore and some companies will pay for your continuing education.

Don't go back to school for a masters in psychology!!!!!! Trust me on this, it is pretty useless b/c there aren't many jobs available for peeps w/just a masters. You would have to get a doctorate.

I lucked out b/c I moved to a large city after graduation and actually did get a job with a company that provides independent psychological and psychiatric examinations for companies. My boss was a psychologist.

Shodan told you the truth. I have a BA in psychology that is almost 35 years old. I never did anything with it. I went back to school to get a REAL degree, in science. Do that, or like Shodan said, get a masters in social work.

PS Evolutionarily inform your self, whatever you do.

My girlfriend spends most of her time going to auditions, that is of course when she's not asking people how they'd like their coffee.
