I think it was Jimmie Davis that did the original. The main lyrics are You Are My Sunshine
My only sunshine.

Although there have been a great deal of remakes on the song and sung by people like Johnny Cash. Also it is one of two state songs for the state of Louisiana, below is a link for their version. :)
