I emigrated but still have the Dutch nationality. They haven't a draft, but suppose the stupid gits would bite off more than they can chew in their pathetic efforts in Afghanistan.. Perhaps leading to a war with the US against Iran, I would gladly be kitted out as a military man - and revolutionise it from within. Either that, or shoot some officers.

I would go to war and be proud to serve my country. Hiding would mean always looking over your shoulder.

Given if I were of eligible age, sex, and no disabilities, I would proudly serve and honor my country to the best of my ability. I tried to enter when I was younger, unfortunantely one eye is considered a a disability.

I'm too old, so the question is moot, but I'd like to think I'd serve the country that's given me a good life.

I think wars are very meaningless, not even meaningless, but cruel, savage, terrible instruments of governments for power. I'd hide, run away, whatever it takes not to be a part of war. I'd try to fight against war verbally though.

Man, I'd hate to be drafted but I'd probably serve-maybe not proudly, but I wouldn't run either.
