yeah im sure both of the other two answers are right but ill tell you what happened with me....I had periods like you for 3 years then finnaly gave up on dealling with them my mom took me to a gyno aka obgyn and they put me on birth control i hate to say it but i gained about 10 pds within 3 months and in about 6 months i went off the pills and now am regular

anywaz the gyno is a lil scary but remember theyve seen all kinds of privates and im positive yours is no different just close your eyes or stare up and youll be fine...

a benefit to birth control is no pregnancy im not incouraging you bc your young but it helps you know?

You should have been seeing a gynecologist earlier -- I'm troubled that your periods started so early. I'm sure it's nothing, but you should see a doctor anyway. The doctor will take a history, which means asking you about the things you just wrote about, and then will examine you, with your mom in the room, and probably a nurse as well. She or he will feel your stomach to make sure that you don't have any fibroids or tumors, and will check that your breasts don't have lumps, and will look inside your vagina using something called a speculum. It doesn't hurt and takes only a few minutes. Then she or he will discuss what to do to regulate your periods.
You'll be fine, it's nothing to worry about. After this, get a checkup once a year.
Good luck!

Ashley c is right. A gyno will probably just do an exam and pap smear to make sure everything is normal, this will be uncomfortable but not painful, just relax, every woman visits the gyno and we all survive it ok. Then if nothing is wrong physically then he/she will prescribe a contreceptive pill which will even out your period and make it regular. Dont worry, once its sorted you will wonder why you didnt do it sooner, i know i did. The exam will only take about 10 minutes and will be less stressful than you think.

you may just have an irregualr cycyle. dont be scared of the gyno, he most probabaly will prescribe you birth control just to regulate your cycle so that it is more consistent. im not sure if you are sexually active since i see that u are young but dont get scared, if they prescribe you the birth control its just to help.
