Trusting someone i thought i could trust.

As a parent I am prone to many mistakes with my children. That's just part of life. But one of my biggest mistakes was before I had kids. I was 21. My brother-n-law was 15. We went fishing and he was chewing tobacco. He offered me a chew. I had tried chewing tobacco before and always got sick. When I said no he teased me a bit so I gave in to pressure and got a chew. I just knew I was going to be sick so I started walking down the bank away from him casting my line into the river by the time I was out of his sight though I was starting to get over the nausea. So I kept it in my mouth. That evening i bought my first pouch of tobacco and I have been hooked ever since. I gave in to the pressure of a 15 year old boy and now I have a habit I doubt I will ever kick. I am 40 now and I often wish I had just said "NO."

The worst mistake I ever did was kissing someone whom i thought was my boyfriend. To top it all off, he saw this happen.

Letting little things get to me when I had a really good job - and then getting a bad attitude at work.... Now I'm in a different job and it is much worse. It's good to realise when you got a good thing going and not take it for granted.

Telling the counselor my problem that I had a long time ago. (She told my mom and I got in big trouble, it was a private question and I didn't want her to know. I never ever trusted the counselor again!)
