It will all come down to Haseks health. If he can stay healthy for the playoffs then the Wings will be in great shape, they arent as high scoring as in the past but i think they built this team more for the playoffs. The defense top 3 pairings are without a doubt one of the best in the NHL. And they also cleared 2.5 mill. from Fischers contract and stayed around 1 mill. below the cap at the beginning of the year so they can and likely will make a deal for a top winger.

Not so good If you got younger and stronger Teams like Anaheim, San Jose, Nashville, and Edmonton, surpassing them.

Detroit's a good team but getting Old, that can be a Problem for the Red wings.

Pretty good chance as long as they play as well in the playoffs as they do in the regular season.

they don't look strong enough for the playoffs yes Hasek is doing good but he has a great defence in front of him but the forwards of the Wings are not consistent and not to much playoff experience still young but the might make the second round but that's it.

not as good as the ducks, maybe a better chance against the wild, sharks, and sabers but with good goaltending, good D and luck they may have a chance. Hasek is on fire.

i would say slim to none, compared to what theyve had in the past, and not being able to win it. their team is hurting this year.
