how do you keep earbud wires from getting tangled?

each time I go to use them they are knotted. what is the answer?

I'm occasionally plagued by this same problem. An easy solution is to fold the wires over and over and hold them with a rubber band for convenience.

The real solution is wireless (bluetooth) earphones. But those are hard to come by with good quality/pricing. So until the day Apple decides wireless is "cool," we'll all have to wait for the technology to become cheaper.

But for now, just be careful about how you store your earphones, and they'll never get tangled.
