If I was in your shoes, I'd move away BUT I would definitely stay in touch with my loved ones. You can always call, e-mail, instant message them every once in awhile. Even if you're not rich, you should be able to see them during the holidays at least.

I would try talking to my parents and ask them if they want to move and see how it is. but it can be hard for them since they have been living there for a long time i suppose? so try understanding them when they might not agree. and i agree it is a hard situation since ur close with ur family and u dont want to move and leave them there but also u want to move since the weather where u live now isnt that good. so tell them why tell them that u want to move somewhere where its sunny and warm tell them if they love u they will listen and maybe even agree! anyway good luck

Well, I'm the kind off person that likes to be as independent as possible, so; i would move. Anyways, I suggest that you do what you feel must comfortable. Also, how old are? If you are as old as I think, shouldn't you have moved? Besides, life is an adventure. Do not stick to old, but explore the new. I say go for it and move.

I am in the exact same position but I have finally decided to just leave. I'm telling myself that it will only be for about a year and hey if you are that close to your parents you know that you can always come back. It's nice to know that you always have a home to come back to if you find can't stay away. At the same time, it's nice to just get away and find out if you can make it. It'll be a nice new experience for you. Good Luck!

you only got one life to live, if you live it for someone else, then they get both lives. Live your own. Im sure Columbus had friends and family too. My son is in Tashkent, I'm in Tennessee. Our times together are quality. I grew up watching friends get married, stay home, never go anywhere. I struck out, traveled and seen everything i could and did everything i wanted. dont grow old wishing you had.

I'll trade you any time you want.
I live in Florida...it was like 90 degrees today. I was going to kill myself.
You can move to wherever you want and visit your family whenever. They wont hate you for it or anything. You need to be happy where you live.
