I feel in love with everything 97x. I was so into the whole alternative rock thing. I got into Nirvana, muse, my chemical romance, smahing pumpkins, and the offspring. I needed something different. Then I was lost in the 70's and 80's. That brought in Led Zeppelin, Def leppard, and David Bowie.
I think I just need to hear some stuff and see if I love it or hate it. But where do I find this stuff? I just need a song with some awesome lyrics. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i think you already into the music with the greatest lyrics in it, you can't really find better lyrics then David bowie.
70 rock usually had some awsome lyrics in it, as you must know coz u'r into it, that's the best source of cool lyrics
artists like Lou reed, David bowie and pink Floyd wrote the best lyrics...
try Marylin Manson, he's wicked.
i recommend yahoo music if you ant to learn about new artists, it's a really good site.

I would suggest more modern alternative then, Bands like "Cold", "Coldplay", "Linkin PARK", Evanescense, "Breaking Benjamin" and then there are also bands out like "Hinder"
Go to sites like youtube, or myspace music. Just do a search anything alternative. As far as lyrics go you can look up lyrics for free at songlyrics.com
Those are someo of my favorite groups, hope you find what you are looking for.

Listen to different stations on your radio or TV. Google it, even. If you like oldies music like that (I refer to it as oldies =)), like I do, ask your parents. Your parents will know good music from there time. Mine did ^_^
