Yes. Once I was looking to buy a jockey strap and could not find it in the store. So I quietly asked on of the clerks where it would be located. The clerk wasn't sure, so she shouted across the store to a coworker; "Where are the Jockey straps?" I thought I was going to die.

not at all. If your embarrassed buying these things just think about the clerk. He/she possibly sells these things 99 times a day!
When i was a clerk, i was embarassed selling them but after a while it was just like yeah, they're having sex. ppl have sex. And yeah monthly visits!
I'm totally cool with buying them or selling them!

Not anymore--I'm in my forties.
I sometimes buy Depends for MOM, tho, which is slightly embarrassing...I want to say that I am not the one with bladder trouble!

sometimes, it depends on the clerk. If it's a 17 year old boy and I smack down my box of Tampax, I think we are both a little uncomfortable.

Nah, it's part of life and the person who is checking you out should realize that and not make a big deal of it.

Yes, only if a man is in line behind me, i'm ok if a woman is behind me, because I know she can relate to what i'm buying.
