Yeah, christmas is coming up. Have you had one of those presents were your like. "oh...cool." and you don't know ho to act, but you really don't want to hurt family/friend or something.
And even sometimes, I love a present, but I don't really act all surprised over it (even If I am surprised.) What should you do, body laungage, voice? thanks for any help.

I think the best way of acting surprised is not to act. Now with that being said keep a smile on your face and have fun. I guess they best way to fake it if you must is to just not be to much of anything, don't be to fast to move on to the next gift but don't stare at it to long they might get suspicious and you are exited to move onto the next so go for it. Also don't be to over exited but don't be to down, but like i said with the last be more exited its Christmas and your happy to get stuff And last but not least always say thank you and add a little more to it to make it special not just thank you after thank you after thank you, maybe mention the gift or how hard it might have been to find or something.

Well i just received a present today i mean it was cute and all but it wasnt my type of present, so i just said o thats cool its nice. but dont overeact since the person giving it to u may thnk u sound really fake, so if u dont like the present thnk the person and say it was really nice of them to give u the presnet i mean after all its the meaning that counts rite? and remember when u are telling the person this always have a big smile on ur face to show how appreciated u are that they went thru the time to get u a nice gift it jus twasnt ur type

A few phrases guaranteed to give the right impression if surprise for a bad gift...
"OH....you shouldn't have." Emphasis on the word shouldn't
"I can see that you put a lot of though into this." emphaiss on the phrase a lot of though
"How did you know I didn't have one of these?" emphaise the word know.
In all smile, partially...just enough to give the impression of surprise, but not enough to convey more than that...
and if you can o it so no one notices, pinch youself somewehre hard anough to bring a tear tot he eye....that ALWAYS gets them, as lont as no one sees the pinch...I usually pinch my tongue between my teeth.

Fake a smile, say, :"I can certainly use this, what a thoughtful gift, thank you for thinking of me" but what you are really thinking is, "I am going to take this piece of cr@p down to the donation station after you and I part ways!"

People mess up when they are too 'happy' about a gift just say thank you this is nice and smile whether you like the gift or not.

Okay, I'm kidding...just say a polite "thank you", and move on to the next thing...chances are, they won't notice you disliked it...just act normal!

well if you love it.. do what you woudl usually do. Hug them and say thats Exactly what i wanted!!! Thanks you sooooooo much! And make sure you are veryy verry happy, because you are! On the other hand..if you arent very happy with your gift, just say thank you very much, it waw very sweet of you to give me a present this year :)

I just say oh thank you, and make sure I sound upbeat when I do so but make sure not to overdo it. I also tell them thank you. Then I start thinking of others who might like it instead. ;)

Laugh at every gift while saying what it is.. That’s what I do and it gets everyone to laugh with me so they don't know whether or not I like it.
