It really depends. Some people like to work with others, but in private schools, you get the extra attention, because there's less people in the classes.

It depends on the school and the student. Every student is different. There are many types of private schools, and public schools vary too. I went to public schools pre-K through 8th grade. I've gone to a pbulic school since just after the beginning of 9th grade and I've loved all my schools. I had never considered a private school until I got into my public school in 9th grade. The school was way over crowded, the teachers didn't care at all about students or teaching, and the school wasn't staying true to the curriculum of the IB program that I was in. I switched to my private school and loved it. I'm graduating high school a year early, something I wouldn't have been able to do in public school.
Every school and every child is different. It's about finding what's right for you. There are alot of stereotypes I've heard on here about public, private, and even home school. While they may be true in some cases, I can think of at least 5 examples of how they're all wrong. Just do your research and you'll find a school right for you.

It all just depends on the individual and his or her own unique learning style. Some people do better off working with others and are 100% team player. If that is you then a public school would be best. However in private school the enrollment is significantly cut off and that allows your teacher to work more with people one on one and usually the work is not as demanding as it is in public school.

To be honest, some private schools are better than some public schools and some public schools are better than some private schools. National studies have found that public school students score as well or even better than private school students on standardized tests. That in and of itself does not prove anything other than one cannot make a generalization based on presumptions. It is important to investigate the specific private and public schools in your area and make the best decision for you.

I've worked in a public school for 22 years and I think they are the best. I have found that most people that put their children in private schools are trying to shield them from the facts of life that you deal with in a public school. You will not always be around to protect them so they need to learn early how life really is. It all depends on each individual family.

It all depends what state you live in. Some states have a better curriculum than others. To check, go to a district employee and ask about the curriculum and how many people are passing. If you can tell that the standards are bad, you would probably want to check out a private school.
PS I hope this is what you wanted.

Private schools are better if you are in a good school . If you are in a mixed public school and the mix is 15 percent black or less yuo can get as good an education as anywhere. any higher black population than that and the chances are much less and much more dangerious.
Nothing personal or racist intended , just plain truth, supported by plain facts.

Depends on what you want for your kids. I went to public school, and i didn't really like it education-wise, cuz it was more of "survival of the fitess" kind of thing when it came to that. But i wouldn't have traded the experience i had there for anything. I loved it cuz i got to learn a lot of stuff schools don't teach you.

Private would be the best-but, too expensive. It really depends on where you live, the benefits, scholarships, housing, and most important-do they offer many opportunities for your major?
