Yes it is if she absolutely needs it get her the light ones. My 13 year old daughter wears them when she needs them. I am always careful with her as far as inserting and removing the tampon. She always lets me know that she is starting her period. Hope this helps as one mom to another. The things we do for our daughters huh. Lots of luck Merry Christmas. And God Bless.

Yes, she can do no harm to her virginity by wearing them. And as someone else said, have her use the lightest until she needs heavier ones, and change regularly. She has the choice of course, to wear what she wants, but tampons seem to be the best choice with many girls/women. It allows more activity, and more freedom. Again, the choice is hers, but the exposure to information for her is yours. Good for you for caring about her health.

yes, why would it not be ok. tampons are much more comfortable to wear than a pad that is comparable to a diaper. if thats what she wants to use then let her, it wont hurt her any. any other question you have on tampon are answered with a box of playtex tampons. get her the slim fits, they are more comfortable for young girls.

Yes. It is. The other people were correct. Read the package insert if you need more information about changing them and toxic shock syndrome. If you have further questions call your child's Doctor.
