I'm pretty sure she is African American. I do not know what her ancestors are or if they're mixed...but I remember way back when she was on The Real World and she went completely off the wall on Mike about his lack of knowledge of African Americans. That would have been brought up in their many heated discussions! Funny how now, they're best friends.
