Tell them WHY you deserve it.
Explain to them that you really want an I-pod, and talk to them.
If you have any younger siblings, then you could tell them that you will babysit them. You could also offer to do extra chores around the house .
If they refuse, you could try earning some money.
Have a garage sale, sell lemonade, have a bake sale ect.
A shuffle doesn't cost a lot of money, I'm sure that you could make 50$ in less than a week.

one don't get a shuffle get nano ipod (there isn't nano shuffle)
TWO
Shuffle doesn't have a screen
and it comes only in silver
and two it only costs about 50 bucks

I got one last year for christmas.Just tell them how you'll benefit from it.Spoil your parents like they spoil you. Tell your parents that you you know how to work the Ipod and promise them that you'll never lose it.And do what ever you can to get your parents to buy you that DANG IPOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
