Small town homecoming queen
She's the star in this scene
There's no way to deny she's lovely
Perfect skin, perfect hair
Perfumed hearts everywhere
Tell myself that inside I’m better
Maybe I'm just jealous
I can't help but stare at her
She is the class queen I'm in my own band
She’s the ruler I'm sitting in the stands
She gets the top bunk I'm sleeping on the floor
She's Miss America and I'm just the girl next door
6th grade class president
She must be heaven sent
She was never the last one standing
A backseat never taunt
Everything that you want
Never to harsh or too demanding
Maybe I'll admit it
I'm a little bitter
Everybody loves her but I just wanna stare at her
She is the class queen I'm in my own band
She’s the ruler I'm sitting in the stands
She gets the top bunk I'm sleeping on the floor
She's Miss America and I'm just the girl next door
Oh and I'm just the girl next door
I don't know why I'm feeling sorry for myself
I spend all my time wishing that I was someone else

Yes, as long as you don't claim it as your own, that would be plagiarism.

Yeah I think they would like that song. It's more real isn't it? I mean it pretty much tells what exactly does go through a normal teenage girls mind. At least that's what went through my mind back in high school (not gonna give my age. lol)
Merry Christmas

I think you have a very good talent to be able to write music. I also think you did a very good job with this. Your teacher should like and if s/he has questions about it you can always explain the meaning of it to him/her.

Well of course they will, I mean why wouldn't they, it does not contain any profanity, it does not offend anyone in any certain way, so yeah I think they will.

Cool lyrics - I like it...there's nothing offensive or vulgar in it, so yeah, I think they'll approve it.

No, I don't think they'll care. I like these lyrics. But they seem sad.

I think they will. What are you using this for?

If they don't have a few backup songs handy.
