yep I did and lost a couple of friends over it...funny thing is it was something positive that I did not tell them about...they later apologized but by then it was too late...I had to go on with my life and it was going in a different direction...I still do not regret it however.

Yes, but sometimes it is so hard to tell them the complete truth. Sometimes it will hurt them in the way you tell them. Other times one needs to be blunt with the truth, but mostly one needs to be diplomatic in the way they are being told the truth.
Oh and one other point in telling the whole truth..the reason why you are telling them the truth--the whole truth

I usually try to tell everyone the whole truth. There really is never a good reason to lie.

Yeah, it depends how much i care about the person. The more i care, the less i tell the "whole truth".

yes and often time its difficult or nearly impossible so decide if its really worth it to you. if so get a game plan and let the truth be told
