SOME PEOPLE POSE AS, SAY BRITNEY SPEARS ETC, so how can i tell if it's a poser or the real deal?

most of them are real. (bands i mean) Visit an artists official web page and usually they say something like "add us to myspace"
I know of a few bands who have the band page but have individual myspaces as well
Some as well have salutes that state they are real (i know this in the case of some celebs)

I don't think you can. Possibly it'd say "official", but some people still do it, even though I believe it's illegal. Good luck!
