You need to have all of these : A hardware firewall ( your router is an example ), A software firewall ( like ZoneAlarm ), An anti-virus scanner ( like Avira Personal Ed ) and lastly a number of antispyware/adware apps ( like : Spybot Serach&Destroy, SpywareBlaster, A-squared Free and Microsoft Defender ) .

Best one is NORTON INTERNET SECURITY but all these securities use more processes and use more memory, cheap and best is windows firewall try to modify the options in the windows firewall .............
