i want to know a couple of stuff:
how much would it be if i trade my DS for a DS lite, with a $25 gift card, and if i also get a WiFi with that?
and if i do get the WiFi, how does it work? like can i talk to people all around the world with it, and i do i hook it up?

if you go to a retailer like ebgames, you're trade in value for a DS is around 35-55 dollars, IF that. a DS Lite is around 120-130, depending on time (right now, it's an extra ten dollars for marketing reasons)

a WiFi usb connector costs like 40 dollars. - so a trade up and a wifi is looking at around 100 dollars.

if i was you, i'd keep the DS you already have, it's a decent system - then with the gift card, get only the WiFi connector, it'll be an end cost of like 15 dollars.

the wifi unit allows players to contact and play with other players that are on the internet. different games use it in different ways.

it hooks to the computer, and comes with a CD disc to help install the unit to the computer. after that, the DS just needs to be near the usb connector (wifi) - like 15 feet, counting the objects and distractions of a typical house
