if you are on a 400.00 budget, get an xbox360. if you have 540.00, get a wii. the xbox has really great graphics and you don't need a memory card. but sometimes, the xbox360 controllers go haywire and disconnect you from the game and then you have to charge the controller. but it looks much scarier to buy a wii because on the news you see crashed tv sets. at least i didn't get one yet and maybe for x-mas mine will not have to be backordered. the wii is still a great gift though. but its price is 140.00 more than an xbox360.
