I need to set up ventrilo in order to use teamspeak with World of Warcraft, how do I obtain the password and default channel.

Ask whoever owns the server, or whoever is going in it with you what the Server I.P address is, and port. Password if there is one, too. That's all you need to join a server. IP will look like this: 9.29.19.11 etc but with different numbers, the port is usually 4 numbers long with no periods.
