my computer is having some usb issues. If my computer is on, and I plug in a usb drive/mouse/wireless adaptor, my computer won't recognize it until i restart my computer with the device plugged in before it restarts. i've never had this problem before...

anybody have any idea what i can do to fix this?

the component is fine...it works as it should if i plug them into other computers.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

try clean out your usb port with compressed air, if this isnt the case then u can try doing a reinstall of Windows but as an upgrade rather than fresh becuase then u'd lose all your data, it may also be a software issue or the way your BIOS is set-up, im not sure of your computer model or OS so i cant assist u too much more

difficulty: appears like a driving force difficulty,,,, get entry to gadget supervisor: precise-click My laptop > residences. click on Hardware Tab > gadget supervisor. nonetheless, to get entry to devide supervisor, open administration panel > gadget. flow to Hardware Tab > gadget supervisor. WHAT surpassed off: If a yellow question mark or a yellow exclamation mark is displayed adjoining to any of the hardware gadget, (esp USB in ur case), then its time for u to decide the required driving force. answer: you could acquire drivers from internet, or use CDs that became presented from the producer alongside with the hardware. guy presently, no longer something is truthful,,, :)

maybe it just windows is just not working as well as it use to be so maybe you just need to reinstall windows and then it may work better

1)GO TO FIND CONTROL PANEL - ADD HARDWARE
2)follow the instruction .........
