Before you use any chemical products, try to do some other things first. Eat healthy. Beauty really comes from the inside. Don't smoke or drink much alcohol. Go outside a lot, give your skin the opportunity to breathe. Drink a lot of water to wash out your body and get rid of toxins. Wash your face twice a day, in the morning, and in the evening, do a peeling once a week. Get enough sleep and try to stay away from negative stress. Your skin suffers with your mind. You can go to the steam sauna, open up your pores, let your skin sweat. There are many things you can do. I'm not sure which works best, but if you do them all, I'm sure you'll at least feel better. If you have serious problems like acne, you can always consult a skin doctor, who knows best what your specific type of skin needs.

you're probably going to get a series of answers from ppl trying to push some product or the other. If you have relatively normal skin, the simplest, cheapest and most effective ways to increase skin health are to:
1. drink lots of plain water (no..iced tea, coffee, soda and gatorade doesnt qualify)
2. avoid smoking
3. avoid too much alcohol
4. good sleep
5. balanced diet
Also, wash your face once daily with an alcohol-free wash, and moisturize regularly. That's all it takes.
Of course, if you suffer from severe acne, that may require the intervention of a doctor and some kind of facial chemical treatment.

It depends on whats wrong with your skin. First the best face wash to use is Cetaphil. i had ance and this cured it up in about 5 months and its cheap (remember ance takes time to get rid of. it wont disappear over night) Also if you have dry skin use Cetaphil lotion. If your problem is really bad go to a doctor and ask for medicine like Differin Gel but Clindagel works extremely well i put this on a zit and it will be gone in about a day.
If you have big pores wash your face in hot water then wash your face in cold water it will shrink them. I use all of these tip everyday and i have perfect skin.
Good luck

Make sure your moisturizer has an spf, exfoliate two to three times a week, wash your face daily, take off your make up before going to bed, use a toner to minimize your pores.........but the most important thing: drink lots and lots of water.

Eat walnuts, drink plenty of water, and eat a balanced diet.
Secondly for your face...use Ivory soap pat dry then apply hydrogen peroxide with cotton balls. Works wonders but if you are a woman you might want to try birth control pills because hormones can reak havoc as well.

drink alot of water, and be consistent with your daily face washing/moisturizing regimen. Your skin cannot get used to something if you arent consistent with it, so never go to bed without washing your face! Drinking alot of water will help clear toxins :)
