when you hit print go to print preview and see what you are getting in there is a window for you to adjust the size of what you are printing it sounds like your borders are set way way too big and they are cutting done on the available space for printing when you hit print preview it will show you what you are about to print on the page and you Can go from there good luck

I don't think the printer is the problem.
Go to Word and increase the font.
