Yes i started this 6 hours ago in the Christmas spirit to get 100 thumbs up and it has snowballed as if that is the only question out there but you know it is all in fun and you can just skip to the next question. Every couple hours I update my question to reach my goal of 100 but may not make it now as I don't want to start this mess all again at 10:00 Pm sorry have a great day and a nice Christmas:)

Know what I am sick of?...
People asking questions on topics they know nothing whatsoever about... then giving best answer to some retarded answer that is not even correct when my answer was much better...
or worse yet, giving best answer to something and then posting in the comments field, "This answer was unsatisfactory because..."
Ok, that has nothing to do with "give me thumbs up". I just felt like venting. But maybe you have noticed the same things too... so yeah.
I actually had not seen any of the "give me thumbs up" questions. I have to say, though... if I had, I would probably have given them thumbs down just for their stupidity. So yeah, I kinda agree with you.
//edit: know what is even more fun? say something extremely controversial (though not offensive or rude) and see how many thumbs up & down it gets.

If somebody has of course made an attempt with their answer and not been unnecessarily impolite then they're going to get a thumbs up, in spite of regardless of if i be attentive to them or regardless of if that's the main remarkable answer or no longer.

Myself, I can't imagine why. But to each his own - I just skip past the parts I don't like. Much the way I eat chicken... ;)

I don't know, but if it bothers you that much, you could just ignore them...asking a question about it is only going to keep it going a little longer.
