His name is Gerard Way, lead singer of my chemical romance. Uh, I think he had drug and alcohol problems earlier in his life, I pretty sure if you read old interviews, you might read about them, but now thanks to the band, I think he's changed and is all straight. i heart my chemical romance.

GERARD WAY was doing cocaine and drinking too much in the very early 2000s and he has gotten sober and clean on august 11, 2004.(im not sure if that is the exact date)

No. MCR has never taken drugs - gerard used to have a drink problem but has overcome it and i think he was really brave to do that.

yes, GERARD WAY did to drugs. but now he's sober, he only smokes. but he's trying to quit, its his new years resolution
