i just started birthcontrol ... and im still worried on getting pregnant i mean if it happens it happens but.. i heard things about this pill... and other pills to but im concerned because i am on yasmin and does it matter if im like 5 10 minutes late or early to take my pill everynight? i need advice from you gurls!

That will not make a difference. Yes, you are supposed to take it at about the same time everyday, but if you are worried about a few minutes, you shouldn't.

Every pill matters when you take it. All birth control is only effective when you take it at the same hour every day without skipping or missing a pill.

The pill, any pill, any hormonal birth control pill, including minipills, are only about 92% effective according to the way people use them.

Even when taken perfectly one in 100 women who take hormonal birth control pills for a year will become pregnant.

Its always best to take them correctly, have you dosage monitored closely by your doctor, and to use condoms or spermicide along with them.
