My husband showers about every 2 weeks and brushes his teeth just as often. We don't sleep in the same bed cause he stinks. I won't kiss him or have sex with him unless he showers, then it turns into a fight because I tell him he stinks. What should I do?

He wasn't ALWAYS like this. Just in the past year or two. We have been together for twelve, married eleven.

You should get someone else to help you convince him to bathe regularly, like his mother. Or you could spray air freshener every time he enters a room.

You say you have been together for awhile and this has just started in the past couple years. Has anything changed, a death in the family, you loosing weight, or anything that could cause a mental change in him? This may sound strange but he may be trying to turn you off in order to not have to "perform." He seriously needs help, this is a medical problem and with not washing and especially not brushing his teeth he will end up very ill. This could be a physical health problem or a mental health problem. If he'd always been like this I'd say take him out back and hose him down. You say he wasn't always like this so something happened to make him this way. Take him to a doctor and have him get a check up. It could be depression or something more. I'm not a doctor so I don't know. I just know it doesn't sound like something as simple as he's turned into a nasty smelling beast for no reason at all.
