My Grandson a Pet , He hasn't gotten it yet, But I know he will be thrilled, He's only 6 yrs old and his cat had to be put to sleep on Thanksgiving Night.. He didn't quite realize what had happened , as we sat at the animal emergency clinic that night, he is normally shy, but when the veterinarian can in to talk with us, She was very professional, trying to talk , in a manner so my grandson wouldn't understand what had to be done, But he spoke right up and said , My grandmother wanted me to stay home with the rest of the family, but I thought I better come here , so I could help my MiMi get the cat back to the house , because my cat don't really like staying over night places..

Wow , talk about tears,, She was really part of the family, we had her for 17 years..

Sure Miss Her

But She is in a Better Place

Merry Christmas To All

It's funny, you know. My mrs likes her 'personal card from me days before Christmas. Those type of cards I like to save for Christmas day. Anyway, I relented, and gave her the card.
I got to explain, choosing cards, by me, well..they have to be perfect for loved ones. The right words, the sentiment, the picture, almost an obsession! I really take my time. So I chose this great card. And found a superb quote on the internet, and wrote that in the card. I gave her the card, she read it, and just melted.
From that moment, I figured whatever gift I had wrapped and placed under the tree were, really, unimportant.
Have a great Christmas.

I can't wait to give my friend a picture of her and her mother that I have found in my archives. My friends mom had passed away about 4 years ago and this year while looking for photos I couldn't believe I had a photo that I think she really needs at this time.
So even though it is not the most expensive gift, I really hope she likes it-- I think she will probably cry.
This is a good question can't wait to hear other responses.

I wrote and framed a friendship poem for a male friend. For his teenage daughter, I bought a Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul book.

Ok so first of all, I prefer the term Christmas. And second, i think that the best gift i have bought for someone this Christmas is an easy bake oven for my 18 year old sister who is getting married and moving out. I find it quite humorous actually! LOL.
