im a make up artist at fashion shows mostly based in london but was resigned to a shoot in los angeles, i went on a shopping spree and maxxed out my credit card. i went to a clothing boutique called clauidas boutuique. i spent 15,000 on a dress and 2,500 on shoes to match. now i do feel alitle guilty about buying it as it dosent even fit me . ive put on alittle weight now and it wont fit over my little pudgy belly.
ive shopped at expensive clothing shops such as ysl, gucci, fendi, harrods, chanel, juicy couture, armani, . but never expensive as the boutique.
little tip if you ever buy an expensice piece of clothing then dont put on enough weight that it dosent fit you anymore lol

Designer is expensive try Burberrry for example: bathing suit for $200 cashmere scarf for $250 headband for $95 bag (standard Burberry bag) for $450

for department stores, i think bergdorf goodman and barneys new york are pretty high up on the list. neiman marcus and saks fifth ave would be a notch below.

but yep.. designer shops in general are expensive, more so if you have something custom-made for you (as opposed to off-the-rack). for guys, bespoke tailoring is probably the most luxury you can have in terms of clothing.

any designer store like Armani, Versace, Chanel, Gucci.. those are going to be expensive, I dont think any of them could be classified as the MOST expensive because it depends on what you are buying.... for example.. a shirt may be only $150.. but a Versace coat could be as much as $8000.00

I would have to think it would be a toss up between Louis Vuitton, Chanel or Yves Saint Laurent. I have seen dresses sell for $38,000 and shoes going for $5400. Hope this helps :o)

there really isnt one store. look in the new issue of Elle, Vogue, or Harpers Bazaar for exclusive designers that are sold in boutiques. thats where you will find the most expensive stuff.
