Go with intel. Ever since the Core 2 came out AMD hasn't even been close to anything Intel can do.

I don't think one is faster than the other, I read the benchmarks and find out which one actually is. You should get the Core 2 Duo E6300, for about $180 in America, so probably around £110 where you are, stuff tends to be a little more expensive overseas. As for the video card thing, depends actually. Really just have to settle on a price range, then pick the best card at the price, sometimes its nVidia, sometimes ATI.

AMD is about at the same level as Intel but they are cheaper so you get more bang for your buck So if I were you I would go with AMD and Nivida has made that chip that they put on some of the motherboards to work really good with AMD's Chips

AMD Processors generally give better performance for gaming computers. As to the graphics card, both nVIDIA and ATI are great companies, but avoid the ATI X1600, it can burn out within short times of use.

In games, either one will have about the same speed. most video games require video cards to be the speedy part of the hardware. Very few games use the cpu as the hardware needed. Are you looking for hardware (cpu or video card)? For video card and cpu comparisons, goto www.tomshardware.com.

Why could you're making exciting of and be mean to a guy you like??? that's in basic terms extraordinary. consistent with danger you do no longer likely like him. If i like a woman, i could in no way do something evil to her and that i'll be effective to her.

If you are looking to do one task really quickly then go with AMD. If you are wanting to run multiple tasks quickly then go with Intel.

Both manufacturer's have CPUs that are good for gaming, picking a particular brand does not guarantee it will be a good gaming PC.
read this, then decide for yourself.
