i would say A

because at first or prior 2 her cutting her hair, she EXPECTED that cutting it was a good idea, how it turns that the opposite occurred

My guess is A but it depends on the situation: does Marjorie not like her mother; does Warren worship Bernice's every action; is Marjorie not socially accepted?
