It's a great poem. You have a great talent for expressing yourself in writing. I hope that you can maintain that same strength in life. Keep up the work and don't listen to the other Answers stating that you half low self esteem, blah, blah, blah. We all have been hurt and I am sure that they have also. Just some of us are not afraid to open up and show that we can feel pain.

One question, Why don't they love themself enough to NOT let this happen? To me that speaks of a person who doesn't feel worthy of any respect from the person they are in love with. It's a great poem but if this is true for you or someone you know, they need to work on how they feel about themself before entering into any kind of romantic relationship. It is that sort of love affair that could become abusive- Physical, mental and/or verbal. We as people are worth far more than we allow. This person needs love not punishment. Empower yourself or themself and find a love that is based on respect and correct treatment.

I agree with AngelsLoveRomance. That was a great poem and don't listen to the people that have comments on your self-esteem. Oh and to the guy that said "Rubbish"--we're not in the 18th century. No one says that anymore. Good luck hun...you have great talent.

Jesus. That's rubbish - I mean, of course you can love a person very much, but honestly: you should come up with enough self-esteem to tell them to p*ss off when they hurt you.
