He is believed to have died on the Friday before Passover somewhere between 30 and 36 A.D., although no one is really 100% certain.

All that is agreed on is that it was what we call "Good Friday." Read more....
Main article: Death and Resurrection of Jesus
As a matter of historical fact, the date of Christ's death is unknown and cannot be calculated from the information in the Gospels. The Gospels indicate he died on the afternoon of 15 Nisan (the day of the Passover, Lev 23:5) - or, alternatively, on the day before; but no year is given, except that it was during the reign of Tiberius Caesar (AD 14-37). According to all four Gospels (Matthew 27:62; Mark 15:42; Luke 23:54; John 19:31) Jesus died on Preparation Day (the day before the Sabbath), which would make it a Friday.
Thus, the question is fully relegated to theological speculation, under which it is believed the Crucifixion occurred on a Friday in April or March. One possible date is 3 April AD 33. A partial lunar eclipse also took place on this date, which some have argued corresponds to the "darkness" mentioned in Matthew 27:45. John P. Meier's A Marginal Jew notes 7 April 30, 3 April 33, and 30 March 36, as possible Friday 14 Nisan dates during the rule of Pilate.
In Western Christianity the earliest possible date for Good Friday is March 20 and the latest possible date is April 23. The latest possible date for Great Friday in Eastern Orthodoxy is May 7. See also Reform of the date of Easter.

October of 2 BC, or better B.C.E. (Before Common Era). Why would October be the month? Shepherds were out in the fields with their flocks at night, Luke 2:8. The reason Jesus was born in Bethlehem, is because the Jews were ordered by Caesar Augustus to go to their place of origin and be registered (most likely for tax reasons). It is unlikely that the Jewish people could have traveled in the rainy season for long distances, so October is better than December. When Jesus was baptized he was about thirty years Luke 3:23 old and I believe 6 months later the passover occurred, which would place Jesus birth in October. Have a nice night.

Christ died on a Friday in late March in approximately 33-36 C.E.
He was in Jerusalem for the Passover Feast which is a Hebrew lunar festival marking the "first weekend after the full moon following the Vernal Equinox".
Vernal Equinox= Mar 21st every year
So..... Friday of the above calculated weekend in 33-36 C.E.

Yes we know, who said we don't know, we also know he was born on or around withing 2 to 3 days April 7, and he died during his high Jewish holiday Passover which is between the end of March and beginning of April, which makes his birth and death around the same time. Check with the site that is Science and Astronomy not Astrology.
This has been proven. The Star of Bethlehem, was actually Jupiter, and last year it was in the same place as Christs birth and the whole world saw it.

As so many of your responders point out, the exact day is not known--but only in the sense that the Jews followed a lunar calendar back then and we use a solar one. The exact day he died is mentioned in the Bible, but, to find the corresponding present day equavalent you'd have to do some calculating that I don't know how to do. Suffice it to say, there are people who can do it. As one person said, it varies between March and April. And the exact year was 33.

The estimate is around 30 AD. It was the Friday of Passover.
Passover begins at sunset on the fourteenth day of the Jewish month of Nisan, generally between late March and mid-April.
