should i wear different clothes?

i dress preppy. polo, poped collar, ribbbons, the whole 9 yards. im not sure if i should dress differntly though. sometimes i get made fun of but my peers. if you think i should change, what styles do u prefer?

keep dressing lady like and men and others will respect you and take you more serious. Cus once you start advertsiing your cookies to ppl no one will respect you . Believe it or not ppl do judge you on appearance no matter what ppl say . College recrutier or the person interviewing you for a job . They look at how articulate you are how professional you are in the interview after they look at your appearance first . So be yourself and dress preppy .

How old are you, or what grade are you in? I'm in college, and that preppy look is really popular. But I guess diff styles are diff in diff schools/areas. I think that look is cute, but not really "me." I like to get creative with my wardrobe, so my style varies from day to day. In general, I guess I wear a lot of Asian/mod/emo/DIY styles because those are the most fun for me. What I focus on most, though, is just whatever looks good on me.

If you like your preppy style and feel comfy in it, then I say stick with it. If you don't, take a window shopping trip to the mall. Diff stores cater to diff styles, and you'll get ideas just from looking around a bit and seeing what you like. I don't know why your peers are making fun of you, but I guess people always look for excuses to make fun of their peers.

If you like preppy clothes, wear them, but if you dress that way just to make a point or becuase you are scared to try something new, think about changing. People may tease you, but not really want you to change, so don't read to much into the teasing if it isn't mean.
If you find another style you like, try it.

You should wear what your personal style is. Not whats trendy.. not whats considered "cool" but what your eye is drawn to. As you get older.. it becomes easier... but there are some people who will always dress a certain way just because they think thats how they should... based on what other people have told them. Forget what other people think.

I think you should wear whatever YOU like. Who cares what other people think. They're probably just jealous you can afford to look good. Don't change just beacuse other people think you should. In the end all you have is you and if you take that away you have nothing. Be true to yourself. If other people don't like that....that's their problem...not yours.

wear what you want to. if your friends are making fun of you, then maybe you should find new friends.

dress your way and stay focused on your school cause in 5 yrs, those friends might not be there, but your knowledge will .
