i have this guy friend who has a girlfriend who's pregnant he has given her 3 engagement rings but has not yet popped the question but they're having a baby and they planned to have one but he said he thought if they had kids he would be able to marry her but he still cant why is this it seems so weird

basically i just wanna know why this guy could plan to have a baby with her but not get married it makes no sense is he lying to me and 3 engagment rings what did she think they were promise rings? it sounds like he's lying to me

Keep in mind he is just your friend and as a friend you should leave that little matter between him and his girlfriend, let them sort it out. In that way there is no need for anyone to feel lied to.
Sounds like he has some idiotic idea for an excuse to get married. I was engaged once and his excuse to get married was just to throw a party, we never got married.

I think there is too much emphisis on marriage in this country. If they both love each other and devote themselves to each other that should be enough and that's probably what he's thinking. But there is all this pressure to get married. You're not officially grown up if you're not married some people think. Sounds like both of them simply need to talk openly about it and decide what's right for them.

I accept as true with the others, if a guy does not admire your needs, he isn't lots of a guy. although, lots of people tend to attend until after their married and locate their in comparison to minded or that's totally awkward. i think of people now days placed to plenty emphasis on waiting. I did, and then i became like "that's what I waited for?!!" intercourse isn't all there is, although this is a huge part of a dating and that's extra suitable to make certain until now hand, then land up being married to somebody you haven't any longer any sexual connection with. in basic terms my opinion however.

men do believe in marriage. they just don't believe in marriage with the girl they are with. plain and simple. from your story it sounds as if she didn't want to get married. or maybe she wants to have the baby then get married. no woman likes to be propsed to when they are already pregnant. i don't want to get married just because i am knocked up. i want to get married because i want to be with my husband and promise to love him for who he is.
