this one is dome from the trunk area,,its not bad to do though remove the under cover from it,,and then remove the bulb from it,,that's about it,,be sure and put the cover back on tight or it will rattle,,good luck hope this help,s.,have a good x-mas.

I'm not familiar with a 300M. But consider this. It may not be a light bulb that needs to be changed. Many third brake lights these days are made of LEDs. If that is true, then it may only be sold at an authorized dealer. Just a thought. Best of luck to you.

The light bulbs are in the trunk lid. Reach in behind the light and twist the sockets out, then remove the bulbs. I own an Intrepid and they're very similar mechanically.

you need to remove the under trunk panel. its the piece that lines the bottom side of your trunk lid.It has little black plastic buttons that hold it on.behind that you will see where the wire goes into the back of the light. it twists out counter clockwise to expose the bulb in its socket.
Those plastic buttons can be a pain to remove without the proper tool. see if you have a big serving fork in your kitchen. push the fork under the head of the plastic button and pry outward. it should work sufficiently.
