When you say money? Do you mean Spanish Dubloons?
Gold, Silver, Platinum, Gems, etc? Or just a loaned out piece of paper called legal tender by a government, with goofy drawings on it? I think it is ridiculous that money in any way should be everything, because it isn't. You cant buy your life back when you are dead, or your loved ones either. You cant cure cancer with any amount if it is terminal, and it wont get you to heaven even in a Shuttle. So do the numbers and figure it out. Love is all and All is Love it is just a matter of what and who and that is what makes the world go round (excluding monetary entirely).

Money is material that the government decided to make important that people trade for other things they don't need. So no, money is nothing. It's too bad that idiots think it's everything and fight other idiots, putting the happiness of intelligent and/or innocent people in jeopardy in the process.

Money is only a tool to simplify the trading of goods and services. It is not inherently good or bad and it definitely is not "everything". That said, abundance is our natural state and allowing more money into your life allows you to help more people. To attract more abundance, focus on what it is you would DO with more money rather than the acquisition of the money itself. The money isn't TRULY what anyone desires - it is how they would feel if they had more money or how more money would affect their lives that makes it desirable. Money is only so many pieces of colored paper with no intrinsic value. (Search for Fiat Currency for information on that.)

Howard Stern signed a deal with Sirius for 500 million dollars. He sees a shrink almost everyday. There are people that are dirt poor in India I know of that serve God and have never been happier.

If you have to ask then you are not in possession of it and probably never will. I have been rich and I have been poor. I like rich better. Quoted from an old celebrity from the 20th Century. Sophie Tucker. Look her up on Google.

People tend to think that all of their problems would be solved with money. I know a few millionairs who are very lonely and quickly found that money does not solve all of your problems.
So to answer the question-no. Money is not everything.

most of the happiest times in my life was when i was broke poor. i think that sometimes the wonder of what it would be like having something or dreaming about what i want is better than experiencing or owning it. money is useful, but it is the love of money that is a sin, not the money in and of itself.
