It was more like a b*tch slap than a punch, he was sticking up for his teammate and that is someone I would like to have around, I can't wait to see Melo and Ivy play together.

I think Melo is alright. There are many things in life that each and everyone of us does that we would want to take back. In Melo's case, he can't, because it was in a public stage and he was made an example off as that type of behavior has no place in the game of basketball.

Carmelo Anthony is already feeling the repercussions of his actions. Just the other day, his image was pulled from a potential cover of an in-flight magazine.

Hope this helps.

man please stop bringing this up you can go back to old pages and see.... Melo punch was no ***** or girl even though it was half slap halp punch to the face Collins still went down.. those Knicks didn't give in a fair fight so they had to bring nearly all their members to bash Melo because melo can't be down with one punch as I say so many times over again Melo was saving his pride and respect so people stop bringing up this it's really getting annoying!

I thought I was the only person who saw that in America. I think he is a punk. He did not punch the guy but slapped him, then he broke in ran like a girl. Just because a guy has braids in his head does not mean he is tough!!!!

Of course....if you sucker punch a guy in the face you should stand up and fight like a man instead of running away like a little pussy jesus...he can dish it out but he cant take it

That's what punks , thugs and bullies do they hit and run or they get a bunch of their friends to jump in , he is a punk and he is soft he really showed his true colors , what an example to our youth , as fans we really don't want to see that crap we pay for basketball and that's what we want to see !

I hate fighting and think you're a punk if you fight at all...esp over a game...BUT...if you run up to someone and slap them and then run away, you are a super punk.

I understand the fighting, but I don't understand sucker punching somebody...and especially running away afterwards. My sister does that, and she is 5 years old.

yeah he is a punk for doing that. if he just stayed out of other people fights none of this would have happened and he would have been on the court with iverson.
