well i studied an astronomy course with one of the greenwich observatory's (london) lead astonomers.
the universe is massive much much much biggr than you can imagine.
he said and i quote.
'is there life in the solar system? i highly highly dout it
'will we ever meet aliens'? probrably not
'is there life out there? deffinatly'
the chances of other life is very high and the chance of them having an 'alternative race' is also very high, but the chance of us ever meeting, seeing or even acknologing their existance is is extremely low

The people missing on milk cartons are not all still missing, you know. Some have been found, or else it would be pretty pointless to keep printing pictures on the milk cartons.
And I do not believe in alien form outer space abducting humans.

WE might be the alternative, and the missing ones on the milk cartons may have been the lucky ones that figured it out and escaped.

No. The whole concept of aliens from outer space is pretty silly. It doesn't make any sense when you apply the laws of physics.
