They are one and the same thing.
When you make a choice you show your prejudice as well as your acceptance.
If you accept everyone then you reject noone and if you accept noone then you reject everyone.
Normally your decisions fall somewhere in the middle between every one and noone but the idea is the sam, those excluded feel you are prejudiced against them and those included feel you are accepting of them.
So the answer is that it takes the sameamount of effort to do both.

for most people, it's easier to be prejudice than to accept someone or something new. almost everyone is comfortable and happy with what they already have and it's easier to be mean than to give someone the chance to take the comfort away.
