I have an iMac laptop,cannot get pointer to open web pages.?

When I point cursor to an icon,nothing happens.Searched all help pages and can't find answer

There is no such thing as an iMac laptop, and pointing the cursor at an icon isn't supposed to do anything!

If you want answers, you have to ask precise, descriptive and correct questions.

hmmmm.. do u mean u have the new mac book laptop, or the ibook. well u r supposed to double click.....
